About While You’re Away Home Watch
When the neighbors, tourists, and renters packed up on Labor Day weekend, and the area turned into a ghost town, we recognized a definite need on the barrier island of the Jersey Shore for a Home Watch service. We had the whole beach to ourselves! We could get into any restaurant without a reservation! The traffic was gone! We thought, “Who is watching these properties while they are away?” It became clear to us that this would be our next business venture. Living year-round in a seasonal vacation area affords us the perfect opportunity to be the right choice to watch over your home.
Tom is a NJ Firefighter with a telecom and home building background. Theresa has 15 years of experience in real estate. We are trusted professionals in our community. We know the lay of the land within each community along the barrier island.
We perform weekly or bi-weekly checks on your property and will send a full report via email or text. Accountability is supported with geolocated time and date visit verification and photos of identified problems. Our network of reliable contractors and tradespeople can be recommended to address any issues discovered at your property, inside and out.
We aim to be an extension of you – your eyes and ears, while you are away.
